ENGLISH

One of our goals for this year is having more hours of English at school, from I3 to 6th grade. Our English teacher’s team, including the new English assistant, Jèssica, are helping the students to improve their oral comprehension, speaking, writing, vocabulary…

Good results are starting to spring up, as we can see with the last activity of 6th grade, where students had to work in groups and compete in order to defend the best invention.

After some days debating which is the best speech (for students are not only evaluated by the invention itself, but for their participation and their effort to speak English), the winning team were Enric, Joan, Keylan and Jordi, who defended electricity. Congratulations to everybody!

Un dels nostres objectius per aquest curs és tenir més hores d’anglès a l’escola, des de I3 fins a 6è de primària. El nostre equip de professors d’anglès, que inclou la nova auxiliar de conversa, la Jèssica, està ajudant els alumnes a millorar la seva comprensió i expressió oral, escrita, el vocabulari…

Els resultats ja s’estan notant, com podem comprovar amb l’última activitat de 6è, on els alumnes havien de treballar en grup i competir per tal de defensar el millor invent.

Després d’uns dies debatent quin és el millor discurs (no només es valora l’invent, sinó també la seva participació i el seu esforç per parlar anglès), l’equip guanyador va ser el format per l’Enric, en Joan, en Keylan i en Jordi, que van defensar l’electricitat. Felicitats a tothom!
